Zadran joins the list of legends.

Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran rocked the match. He broke the old records of Champions Trophy by batting brilliantly. Zadran scored 177 runs in 146 balls with the help of 12 fours and six sixes. This is the highest individual score of any player in Champions Trophy history. He surpassed England’s Ben Duckett who had scored 165 runs against Australia on the same ground in the previous match. 

Ibrahim Zadran has left behind Kapil Dev

with this innings. Zadran has become the youngest batsman to score more than 150 runs in an ICC ODI tournament. Zadran achieved this feat at the age of 23 years 76 days, while Kapil scored more than 150 runs against Zimbabwe in the 1983 World Cup at the age of 24 years 163 days.
