Each month, three players from men’s and women’s cricket are shortlisted based on their performances. The final winners are selected through a combination of votes from the ICC Voting Academy and fans around the world.
- The ICC Voting Academy consists of respected journalists, former players, broadcasters, and ICC Hall of Famers.
- The academy holds 90% of the voting weight.
- Fans contribute the remaining 10% and can vote via the ICC website: icc-cricket.com/awards
- Winners are announced in the second week of each month on ICC digital platforms.
